Vinyl Sunday – Reggae December 21, 2014

Well, it was a hit. Many people showed up to hear Motown at the premiere Vinyl Sunday event. So we are doing it again, this time with reggae. The owner of Cantine says he has over 140 reggae records for me to choose from. Plus I have my own batch of great reggae records from Nichole (Jason’s old collection). I have many reggae memories, that I hope to portray with this night. I do have fond memories of Bob Marley in high school, at fun parties with people who only liked Bob because it meant there was weed around. But college was when I really got into it. I went to Mexico with some friends where there was a huge festival happening. We partied back stage with Pato Banton and Eek -a-Mouse. They were kind, and took care of us. I am excited to explore this genre, plus the food is off the hook at this place, and the atmosphere friendly and relaxing. There will be a Cider Maker pouring tastes and everyone will have a good time.
