Growing up playing music (www.ameechapman.com) was always my first love. I’d listen to my parents vinyl records over and over and hum the harmonies along with the tunes. I would always offer to mix songs at a party, because I loved the look on people’s face when they realized what song was coming on, and that they could dance their ass off to it. Fast forward a bunch of years, when playing out with a band seems like hard work, and rallying fans to attend shows more like torture. I came up with the Vinyl Sunday idea and pitched to a local winepub. A Themed night where you can pair some food and drink specials to the vibe of the night. It was an instant hit! Since then I have played many other types of nights too. Parties, Birthdays, New Year’s, First home game for colleges. I love spinning vinyl, but can do both digital and analog, and I still get a kick out of figuring out what to play next. As always, thanks for supporting live music, in whatever form that takes.
